This image was created in honor of my nephew's marriage. I find a lot of inspiration in e e cummings' minimalism and syntax. And I felt that this poem reflected Daniel's and Laura's spirituality and love of nature.

i thank You God for most this amazing
day:for the leaping greenly spirits of trees
and a blue true dream of sky; and for everything
which is natural which is infinite which is yes

I knew I wanted to use trees, both because they're mentioned in the poem, and because they represent infinity through their fractal structure. The trick then became how to make their spirits leap. When I thought about looking up through the branches, I realized that might be a satisfactory solution.

The version I made for them uses the text to create an inner border on all four sides.
